Kudo is about time honoured techniques, a celebration of the craft of baking and its origins. Local flours, indigenous grains, and the rituals of ancient bread-making.
Established by husband & wife chef couple Felix Goodwin & Elena Nguyen, Kudo celebrates gluten-free baking; a bakery not just for those with a coeliac or gluten free lifestyle, but also those they wish to celebrate and break bread with.
Kudo proudly supports local, with our ingredients supplied by friends Gippsland Jersey, Honest Eggs, Jimmy Rum, Teff Tribe & Bio Oz.
We present a rotating selection of gluten free breads, rustic sourdoughs, baguettes, dark rye style miches, brioches, babkas and Danish style seeded loaves.
To-go – with Ona coffee – are madeleines, cookies and canelés; in flavours of vanilla, matcha, genmaicha, lemon brûlée, almond and ondeh ondeh – made the traditional way in French copper moulds with local beeswax, vanilla and rum.
Pre-order our breads and pastries for pick-up from our shop at 8 Little Collins Street.
